The event was hosted by the Vienna Vaccine Safety Initiative (www.vi-vi.org) as the coordinating entity for ImmuHubs. After the introduction by the EU Scientific Officer and the Coordinator, Work Package leaders presented their path forward with the tasks ahead. ViVI presented the ImmuHubs Team, stakeholders and governance structure, the project management (WP1) as well as plans for communication/dissemination (WP2) of project outputs and the development of a technology platform (WP6) for the ImmuHubs project. THL outlined in the evaluation process for the project in WP3 (learning and integrating lessons learned in the EU-JAV) as well as WP2 studies assessing COVID-19 aspects of vaccine equity and uptake. PRAKSIS and EAP described how innovative immunization hubs will be developed in WP4, based on grassroots activities on the ground in countries as diverse as Cyprus, Greece, Finland, Poland, Portugal and Serbia. EUParents as leaders of WP5 will ensure that the end-users, i.e. European citizens and families in particular, will benefit from the ImmuHubs project. EUParents will be working on a lasting legacy and important policy outputs to support European activities with regards to vaccine equity and the protection of vulnerable groups in society
